The Alpha® ECG Grinding Kit 7" is a complete wet/dry stone grinding solution built around the ECG-900 wet high-speed angle grinder and the Ecoguard G7 dust shroud. Pair it with a HEPA vacuum for clean dry grinding, or connect a water feed for wet work that contains slurry and minimizes overspray.

- Inspect all components and confirm the Spike Disc is rated for your material.
- For DRY grinding: connect the Ecoguard G7 vacuum port to a HEPA vacuum via the 54" flexible connector hose.
- For WET grinding: attach the 15 ft water hose assembly with the quick-connect shut-off valve to a regulated water source.
- Plug the ECG-900 into the supplied GFCI before connecting to the outlet. Confirm GFCI test/reset before each use.
- Install the C-handle or side handle in the position that gives the best control for the cut.
- Start the grinder OFF the work, let it reach full speed (6,200 RPM no load), then engage the stone with light, even pressure.

Can I use this kit for both wet and dry grinding?
Yes. The Ecoguard G7 shroud is designed for dual application - connect a HEPA vacuum for dust extraction during dry grinding, or feed water through the included 15 ft water hose assembly for wet grinding.
Is the GFCI required?
Yes. The included GFCI must be in line whenever water is used. Test the GFCI before every use.
