Turboshine Grinding & Shaping Wheels

Vacuum-brazed diamond grinding & shaping wheels engineered for the Alpha Turboshine Dual Adapter System. Rough-grind, contour, and shape natural and engineered stone edges before stepping through the Turboshine resin polishing sequence on the same backer pad without changing drive systems.

  1. Mount the appropriate Turboshine Dual Adapter (5/8"-11 or M14) on a variable-speed polisher.
  2. Snap the grinding wheel onto the adapter - no tools required.
  3. Run wet at 3,500-5,000 RPM for grinding; never exceed 14,500 RPM.
  4. Start with 60 grit to remove material, follow with 120 grit to refine before transitioning to Turboshine resin discs.
  5. Keep water flowing on the work surface to flush swarf and protect the diamond matrix.

Do I need both the 60 and 120 grit?

Yes - 60 grit removes material aggressively, then 120 refines the surface so the Turboshine 100-grit resin disc has a clean substrate to polish from.

Will these fit my existing Turboshine adapter?

Yes. Both 3" and 4" wheels snap onto the Turboshine Dual Adapter (DAS35/8PD for 5/8"-11 spindles, DAS3M14PD for M14).

Can I run these dry?

Wet use is strongly recommended. Dry use will shorten matrix life and risks heat-cracking the wheel.
