Tenax Hardener for Polyester Adhesives — BPO Catalyst for Stone Fabrication

Tenax hardener is the benzoyl-peroxide (BPO) catalyst that activates Tenax polyester stone adhesives — both knife-grade and flowing grades. Offered in paste and liquid forms, it triggers a fast, strong cure for seaming, repairing, filling, and bonding natural and engineered stone.

  • Catalyzes Tenax polyester adhesives for a fast, strong cure.
  • Available in paste and liquid forms to suit different adhesives and workflows.
  • Add per the correct ratio and mix thoroughly; excess hardener can yellow the glue and increase shrinkage.
  • Store away from heat, humidity, and sunlight.

Add the hardener to the polyester adhesive at roughly 2–3% by weight, mix thoroughly, and apply within the adhesive's working time for seaming, repair, filling, and bonding.
