Akemi Akepox 2040 High-Strength Knife-Grade Two-Component Epoxy Adhesive

AKEPOX 2040 is AKEMI's filled, solvent-free, two-component (Part A + Part B) knife-grade epoxy for demanding structural bonding in stone fabrication. Its paste-like, vertically stable body fills holes and models edges and corners without sagging, curing to an extremely weather-resistant, high-strength bond on marble, granite, artificial stone, concrete, terrazzo and steel — including load-bearing bonds per DIN 18516 / DIN 2304.

UV Notehardened adhesive yellows in sunlight — not for visible joints on light/white stone
  • Paste-like knife-grade body — fills holes and models edges/corners without sagging
  • Filled, high-strength formulation for load-bearing structural bonds (DIN 18516 / DIN 2304)
  • Solvent-free — low shrinkage and low stress in the bond line
  • Extremely weather-resistant cured bond, also bonds steel
  • 2:1 mix ratio by weight or volume
  • Tintable up to 5% with AKEPOX colouring pastes/concentrates

Structural bonding of natural stone (marble, granite), artificial stone, concrete, terrazzo and steel; filling holes, modeling edges and corners, and anchoring facade coverings and railings. Also bonds rigid PVC, polyester, polystyrene, ABS, polycarbonate, wood and glass. Because the cured resin yellows in sunlight, avoid visible fillings or joints on light or white surfaces.
