Alpha® Nichigo G-Tape™ 3045 Series — Self-Adhering Flashing Tape
Nichigo G-Tape™ 3045BK is a single-sided flashing tape built from a laminated polyethylene cloth backing bonded to a proprietary acrylic adhesive. It is engineered for high static shear to rubber materials — including EPDM and other low-surface-energy membranes — making it the go-to seaming tape where asphalt or butyl tapes fall short. Hand-tearable in straight lines, repositionable without wrinkles, and rated for all-weather service from -40°F to +176°F (-40°C to +80°C). Meets AAMA 711-13 Type A (without primer) Level 3, and AC 148.

- Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, and loose particles before applying.
- Measure and cut the required length from the roll — or hand-tear in a straight line.
- Peel back a short section of the release liner and position the tape against the rubber surface.
- Press the tape into place; reposition without wrinkling if alignment needs adjustment.
- Continue peeling the liner while firmly pressing the tape along the seam.
- Use a J-roller or firm hand pressure across the full width to seat the acrylic adhesive.
- Verify edges are fully bonded; apply at temperatures within the rated -40°F to +176°F service range.
