Alpha® Rotary Backer Pads
Soft molded urethane backer pads engineered for rotary polishers. The flexible urethane edge absorbs vibration and rebounds smoothly for contour work, while the 5/8"-11 thread fits standard rotary polishers. Available in five sizes (3" through 8") with Hook & Loop attachment for fast pad changes, plus an 8" Adhesive (PSA) version for pressure-sensitive pads.

- Thread the backer pad onto your rotary polisher’s 5/8"-11 spindle. Hand-tighten firmly.
- For Hook & Loop (HL) models: press the foam, wool, or microfiber pad squarely onto the velcro face until fully seated.
- For Adhesive (GL/PSA) models: peel the liner from a PSA pad and press it firmly onto the adhesive face. Replace pad when adhesion weakens.
- Start at a low RPM to seat the pad and check balance before applying polishing compound.
- Apply even pressure during polishing — the urethane edge will flex to follow contours.
- After use, brush off debris and store flat in a clean, dry area to preserve adhesion.
