Alpha Knock Out Speciality 8" Wet Cutting Blade for Trac Star 2000

The Alpha® Knock Out is a specialty wet cutting blade engineered for the Trac Star 2000 — a low-RPM guide-rail wet saw. It is designed to cut granite and all brands of engineered stone through 1-1/2" thick material quickly and with minimal chipping. The diamond-shape knock-out arbor matches the Trac Star 2000 spindle, and the blade is engineered for the lower RPM range where standard high-speed blades tend to glaze.

Features

  • Wet use only — continuous water flow required
  • Recommended for granite and all brands of engineered stone
  • Designed specifically for the Trac Star 2000 wet saw
  • Cuts 1-1/2" material very fast with minimal chipping
  • Chip-free cutting on the most demanding applications
  • Diamond knock-out arbor matches Trac Star 2000 spindle

  1. Mount the blade on the Trac Star 2000 spindle with the diamond knock-out arbor seated; tighten per the saw manual.
  2. Verify continuous water flow to both sides of the blade before starting the cut.
  3. Start the cut at the leading edge of the material with steady, even traverse pressure.
  4. If the saw bogs down during the cut, reduce traverse speed — never force the blade.
  5. Maintain water flow throughout the entire cut to prevent heat buildup and glazing.
  6. Inspect the blade segments after each cut; dress with an abrasive stick if cutting slows.

What materials is the Alpha® Knock Out blade designed to cut?

All types of granite and all brands of engineered stone.

Can this wet blade be used dry?

No. Wet cutting diamond blades must be used with water to prevent excessive heat buildup, segment damage, and glazing.

What sizes are available?

8" diameter only.

What is the arbor?

Diamond-shape knock-out with 5/8" arbor, matched to the Trac Star 2000 spindle.

Can I use this blade on a standard high-speed circular saw?

No. The Knock Out is engineered for the slower RPM of the Trac Star 2000. Running it on standard high-RPM saws risks glazing and reduced cutting performance.

What traverse speed should I use?

It varies by material. Start moderate and reduce speed if the saw slows during the cut; never force the blade.
