Alpha® Vacuum-Brazed Diamond Core Bits deliver unmatched cutting power on granite, porcelain, concrete, marble, engineered stone and more. Vacuum-brazed diamond retention technology provides maximum durability with consistently fast, clean cuts, smooth edges and minimal chipping. Versatile for both wet and dry drilling, these bits are available in 16 sizes from 5/16" through 4", all with a standard 5/8"-11 thread for direct mounting on angle grinders and drill motors.

- Select the correct diameter for your hole; thread the bit onto a 5/8"-11 angle grinder or drill spindle.
- Observe the Max RPM rating on the Specifications table — 12,000 RPM for sizes 5/16"–2", and 8,400 RPM for sizes 2-1/4"–4".
- For wet drilling, supply water continuously through a swivel adapter to flush debris and cool the diamonds.
- For dry drilling, drill in short pulses to let the bit cool; avoid forcing the cut.
- Start at a shallow angle to score the surface, then bring the bit upright to drill through — reduces chipping on porcelain and stone.
- Inspect the segment regularly; replace when diamonds are worn flush with the matrix.
