Alpha® ECOVAKIT — Vacuum Adapter Kit for Ecoguard D
The Alpha® ECOVAKIT is the vacuum adapter kit that converts the Ecoguard Type D dust-collection cover (DL or DS) from a passive debris catcher into a continuous, vacuum-extracted dust system. It connects the Ecoguard D housing to a standard wet/dry vacuum hose so concrete, masonry and wood dust is pulled directly off the bit during overhead and wall drilling — eliminating the need to stop and empty the chamber.

- Install the Ecoguard D (DL or DS) onto your hammer drill per its manual.
- Snap the ECOVAKIT adapter into the debris-chamber outlet on the Ecoguard D housing.
- Connect the adapter to a standard wet/dry vacuum hose — a HEPA vacuum is recommended for silica control.
- Turn on the vacuum first, then drill normally; dust is extracted continuously at the bit.
- For overhead work, keep the vacuum running throughout the run — no need to stop and empty.
- After use, disconnect the hose; the adapter stays mounted on the Ecoguard D for the next job.
