Alpha® ESC-150 / ESC-250 6" Electric Wet/Dry Stone Cutter
The Alpha® ESC-150 (110V) and ESC-250 (220V) are 6" Electric Wet/Dry Stone Cutters built around a powerful 1200W motor that cuts 1-1/4" (3 cm) stone slabs in a single pass and miter cuts the same thickness with minimal setup. Designed for granite, quartz surfaces, marble, limestone, concrete and sintered/porcelain slabs, the ESC-150/250 ships with a kink-free water hose for wet cutting and a built-in dust gate that connects to a HEPA vacuum for dustless dry trimming on the jobsite — the same tool used in Alpha's ESC Miter Cutting Kit and Countertop Trim Kit.

- Place the slab on a stable, level work surface; for dry cuts, set a stone or Styrofoam substrate under the blade path to redirect dust upward toward the vacuum.
- For wet cutting, connect the kink-free water hose to a standard garden hose via the quick coupler and confirm steady flow at the manifold before powering up.
- For dry cutting, attach a HEPA vacuum (per OSHA Table 1) to the built-in dust gate.
- Mount the side handle in whichever of the two positions is most comfortable for the cut.
- Plug into a grounded outlet; reset the in-line GFCI before each session.
- Set blade depth (max 2" / 50.88 mm); for straight cuts, ride a TT ruler guide, Alpha® Spike Ruler, or mount the cutter on the ASC-6CSM Carriage and Guide Rail.
- Advance the cutter steadily — let the blade do the work; do not force it sideways.
- After cutting, flush the manifold, wipe the base plate dry, and inspect the carbon brushes and felt strips.

Is the ASC-5CSM Carriage Assembly compatible with the ESC-150/250?
No. The ASC-5CSM is sized for the 5" ESC-125. The ESC-150/250 require the larger ASC-6CSM 6" Carriage Assembly.
Why does the ESC-150/250 offer two side-handle positions?
Alpha® provides two side-handle locations so the operator can choose the position that delivers the best comfort and cut stability for each application.
How do I prevent dust escaping during dry cutting?
Place a stone slab or Styrofoam substrate under the blade so dust is redirected upward toward the dust gate and HEPA vacuum.
How can I make straight cuts without the TT Ruler Guide?
Use the Alpha® Guide Rail and ASC-6CSM Carriage System for long, repeatable cuts, or the Alpha® Spike Ruler for cuts under 3 feet.
