MB-3 Soap & Mineral is a non-acid concentrate that dissolves soap scum and hard water mineral deposits on natural stone, tile, glass and fiberglass. Because the formula contains no acid, it lifts build-up from shower walls, floors, doors, washbasins and bathtubs without the vigorous scrubbing or abrasives that dull a glossy finish. It dilutes 1 part product to 2 parts warm water, so a single bottle covers routine descaling through heavy, long-neglected build-up. MB Stone Care rates it a two out of five for technical difficulty, which places it within reach of both homeowners and professionals.

Bar soap reacts with minerals in tap water to form a film that clings to surfaces. Tap water high in calcium, magnesium or silica can also leave water spots on its own, even without soap present.
It is not a daily stone cleaner. Use it every few weeks or about once a month to clear mineral deposits and soap scum.
Used as directed, it is suitable for granite, quartz and marble, and it also works well on tile, glass and fiberglass. Always test an inconspicuous area first.
