MB-3 Soap & Mineral is a non-acid concentrate that dissolves soap scum and hard water mineral deposits on natural stone, tile, glass and fiberglass. Because the formula contains no acid, it lifts build-up from shower walls, floors, doors, washbasins and bathtubs without the vigorous scrubbing or abrasives that dull a glossy finish. It dilutes 1 part product to 2 parts warm water, so a single bottle covers routine descaling through heavy, long-neglected build-up. - Put on rubber gloves to avoid skin contact, and wear eye protection to guard against splashing.
- Test the diluted product on a spare tile or an inconspicuous area before treating the full surface.
- Dilute 1 part MB-3 to 2 parts warm water.
- Apply liberally with a sponge and let the solution stand until the soap scum begins to break up. Do not let it dry on the surface.
- Scrub lightly with a scrub brush or plastic scouring pad.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Repeat the process if deposits remain. Drying the surface afterward is not required.

What causes soap scum and mineral deposit build-up?
Bar soap reacts with minerals in tap water to form a film that clings to surfaces. Tap water high in calcium, magnesium or silica can also leave water spots on its own, even without soap present.
How often should I use MB-3?
It is not a daily stone cleaner. Use it every few weeks or about once a month to clear mineral deposits and soap scum.
Which natural stone surfaces can I use it on?
Used as directed, it is suitable for granite, quartz and marble, and it also works well on tile, glass and fiberglass. Always test an inconspicuous area first.
Is it suitable for composite granite sinks?
