This is the MEM3000 safety electrical conversion unit (transformer) built by Marmoelettromeccanica to power the Master 3500 portable contouring router. The Master 3500 runs on a very low-voltage, 48V supply for operator safety, so it must never be connected directly to mains power — it is always run through this conversion unit. The MEM3000 steps three-phase mains supply down to that 48V output, is double insulated, and is CE marked to international low-voltage safety regulations.
