Diamax Cyclone MVG60 6" Pneumatic Wet Variable-Speed Grinder — 10,000 RPM with Guard
The Diamax Cyclone MVG60 is a 6" pneumatic wet angle grinder built for production stone fabrication on granite, marble, and engineered quartz. Air-driven for safe wet operation, the tool delivers a free-speed of 10,000 RPM and ships with an integrated water-feed guard that protects the operator and keeps the cut zone flushed. The 5/8"-11 spindle accepts standard wet diamond cup wheels, blades, and polishing pads sized for 6" tooling.
Pneumatic drive eliminates the electrical-shock risk inherent to corded electric grinders running with water, which is why air tools remain the fabrication-shop standard for wet edge work, blade roughing, and aggressive material removal on slabs at the saw and the polish station.
- 6" pneumatic wet angle grinder — air-driven for safe operation around water
- 10,000 RPM free speed — high surface velocity for fast wet stock removal
- Integrated water-feed guard — flushes slurry and shields operator from spray
- 5/8"-11 standard spindle — accepts industry-standard 6" wet wheels and pads
- Built for granite, marble, and engineered quartz fabrication

- Connect a clean, regulated air supply matched to the tool's rated CFM and PSI on the nameplate.
- Connect the water line to the guard's inlet and confirm steady flow before mounting any wheel.
- Mount the 6" wet wheel on the 5/8"-11 spindle; tighten to spec and verify it spins true.
- Bring the tool up to speed off the work, then engage the slab with light, even pressure.
- Keep water flowing the entire time the wheel is in the cut — never run a wet wheel dry.
- Disengage and let the wheel stop fully before setting the tool down.
- Add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil to the air inlet daily before first use.
- Use an inline filter and water trap on the air supply — moisture damages air motors.
- After wet use, blow out the water guard and air-purge the tool with compressed air.
- Inspect the spindle, guard, and water inlet for slurry buildup or wear before each shift.
- Never exceed the 10,000 RPM rated free speed or use any wheel rated below that speed.
Can I run this dry? No. The MVG60 is a wet-only grinder; running dry will overheat tooling and is unsafe.
What wheels fit? Any 6" wet diamond wheel, cup, or pad with a 5/8"-11 thread — cup wheels, blades, and resin polishing pads are all compatible.
What air supply do I need? A shop compressor sized to the tool's rated CFM at 90 PSI; check the nameplate for exact requirements.
