Alpha® Ceramica TF — Textured Finish 4"
Alpha® Ceramica TF eliminates the manual brushing step needed to create a textured / leathered finish on engineered stone and quartz edges. The four-position 4" flexible disc set runs on a center water-fed polisher fitted with an undersized rubber backer pad — deliver consistent textured edges in a fraction of the time, then move on. Also works well to produce a honed surface on granite, marble, travertine, terrazzo, porcelain and ceramic tile.

- Mount an undersized 4" rubber backer pad to the center water-fed polisher spindle.
- Prepare the edge with a 60- and 150-grit metal or resin step before starting Ceramica TF.
- Attach the Pos. 0 (Orange) disc to the backer pad and engage water flow before contact.
- Run the polisher at 2,000–2,500 RPM (do not exceed 4,000 RPM).
- Apply 2–3 light passes per position, keeping the disc flat and moving steadily.
- Advance through Pos. 1 (Red), Pos. 2 (Dark Green), then Pos. 3 (Light Green) for the final texture.
- Inspect the edge between positions — do not skip a position.
- Rinse, dry and store the discs flat; replace when the diamond face is glazed or worn flush.

What surface does Ceramica TF create?
A textured / leathered finish on engineered stone and quartz edges. On granite, marble, travertine, terrazzo, porcelain and ceramic it produces a refined honed appearance.
Wet or dry?
Wet use only on a center water-fed polisher. The continuous water feed cools the diamond bond and flushes slurry.
What RPM should I run?
Operate at 2,000–2,500 RPM. Do not exceed the 4,000 RPM maximum rating.
What backer pad do I need?
A 4" undersized rubber backer pad sized for hook-and-loop discs — the undersize allows the disc edge to flex over the workpiece edge.
Do I have to use all four positions?
Yes — run Pos. 0 → 1 → 2 → 3 in order. Skipping a position leaves an uneven texture pattern.
What surface prep is required?
Take the raw edge through 60- and 150-grit metal or resin steps before starting Pos. 0.
Can I use Ceramica TF on porcelain or ceramic tile?
Yes — it produces a honed surface on porcelain and ceramic tile.
What is in TF40KIT?
