Alpha® Profiler V-Series — Full Bullnose Edge Wheel
The Alpha® Profiler V-Series is a vacuum-brazed bullnose wheel designed for fabricators dealing with the variety of thicknesses inherent in stone slabs. It creates a perfect full-bullnose / roundover edge in a single pass on granite, engineered stone, marble, limestone, concrete and porcelain — eliminating the time-consuming calibration process when seaming slabs of slightly different thicknesses. Available in 2cm, 3cm, 4cm, 5cm and 6cm sizes with a 5/8"-11 female thread and internal water passage holes.

- Select the V-Series wheel that matches your slab thickness (2cm, 3cm, 4cm, 5cm or 6cm).
- Thread the Profiler onto a low-RPM wet polisher — AIR-680 or VSP-320 for 2–4cm; VDP-700 with Wet Polishing Kit for 5–6cm.
- Connect water feed — Alpha® Profilers are wet-use only.
- Press the nylon guide firmly and keep it flat and level on the slab surface so the wheel cannot dip.
- Run at low RPM (3,500 max for 2–4cm; 6,000 max for 5–6cm). Profiling is complete when grinding noise ceases and runoff water clears.
- Never exceed the max RPM stamped on the wheel — not for use on high-speed grinders.

How does the Profiler give a straight line across the surface?
The ball bearing / rotary touchier inside the Alpha® Profiler controls the depth of grinding so the final profiled edge is straight. Profiling is complete when grinding noise ceases and runoff water clears.
What keeps the Profiler from dipping?
The nylon guide. Press the guide down firmly on top of the material and keep it flat and level to the slab surface throughout the pass.
Can I replace the nylon guide?
Yes — replacement nylon guide is available separately (Part # PFBNG01 / PFBNG02B). Order through an Authorized Distributor.
What is the life expectancy of an Alpha® Profiler?
Life varies with granite hardness, but Vacuum Brazed diamonds deliver very long life with aggressive grinding action and no loss of profile shape.
Can the Profilers be used on concrete?
Yes — but due to the abrasive nature of concrete, wheel life will be extremely short.
Will they fit a Park Industries Wizard / Deluxe?
Yes. Spindles are 5/8"-11 threaded. Maximum RPM on those machines is 3,500.
Can I use Alpha® Profilers on a high-speed grinder?
No. They are designed for low-RPM wet polishers only. Maximum RPM is 3,500 for 2–4cm and 6,000 for 5–6cm.
Wet or dry use?
Wet use only. All Alpha® Profilers require water feed during operation.
Which polishers are recommended?
For 2cm–4cm: AIR-680 or VSP-320. For 5cm–6cm: VDP-700 with Wet Polishing Kit.
