Alpha® Nichigo G-Tape™ 3040 Series — High-Adhesion Acrylic Flashing Tape
Nichigo G-Tape™ 3040BK Black is a high-adhesion acrylic flashing tape engineered for windows, doors, and deck beam protection. AAMA 7-11 Level 3 Class A certified, it delivers permanent waterproof bonding without primer across an all-weather range of -40°F to +176°F (-40°C to +80°C). Highly weather- and UV-resistant, it hand-tears straight and easy — a favorite of deck builders across the United States for extending joist longevity and shedding water from critical envelope details.

- Ensure substrate is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or loose material.
- Cut tape to the required length; tape can be hand-torn straight without a knife.
- Peel the release liner and position the tape over the joint, seam, or flashing area.
- Press firmly along the full length, using a J-roller or hand pressure to fully wet out the adhesive.
- For overlapping seams, lap upper pieces over lower pieces shingle-style to shed water.
- Apply between -40°F and +176°F; bond strength continues to build for 24 hours after application.
