Alpha® BMP Pool Coping Kit
The Alpha® BMP Pool Coping Kit is a complete turnkey edge-profiling system designed for 2" (5 cm) thick pool coping. It combines the BMP-700 brushless variable-speed rotary polisher with the 2" Profiler V full-bullnose wheel, a wet sanding/polishing kit, backer pad, sandpaper, and waterproof apron — everything a contractor needs to produce finished bullnose edges on granite, engineered stone, marble, limestone, concrete, and porcelain pavers in-house.

- Connect the WSPKIT water hose to a pressurized water source and to the BMP-700.
- Thread the Profiler V (PFV501) wheel onto the 5/8"-11 spindle and verify water flow.
- Profile the 2" edge in multiple light passes at 3000 RPM, keeping the wheel wet.
- Switch to the 5" flexible backer pad with #80 wet sandpaper to smooth the profile.
- Step through finer grits (sold separately) for the desired polish level.
- Always operate wet — dry use will overheat the nylon guide and is not OSHA-compliant.

Can this kit be used on granite pavers?
Yes. The system profiles granite well; for the final sanding step, flexible diamond polishing discs are recommended over #80 sandpaper for hard stone.
Can the kit be operated dry?
No. Dry operation overheats the Profiler V nylon guide and is not OSHA silica-compliant. Always run wet with the WSPKIT connected.
What RPM should I use for profiling and sanding?
The full 700–3000 RPM range is suitable. Most operators profile and sand at the upper end of the range.
