Aardwolf AVLP4 Four-Pad Vacuum Lifter

The Aardwolf AVLP4 is a four-pad vacuum lifter rated at 2,204 lb (1,000 kg) horizontal and 1,102 lb (500 kg) vertical. Pneumatic 0–90 degree tilt lets one operator move slabs between horizontal and vertical orientations. Built for stone fabricators handling granite, marble, and quartz slabs.

Features

  • 2,204 lb (1,000 kg) horizontal / 1,102 lb (500 kg) vertical capacity
  • Four adjustable vacuum pads, each 20.5 in x 12.6 in (520 x 320 mm)
  • Pneumatic 0–90 degree tilt for vertical-to-horizontal slab handling
  • Stainless steel vacuum reserve tank holds suction during power loss
  • Acoustic and visual alarm system on a clip-in 12V battery
  • Individual pad shut-off via 1/4 in ball valves for smaller pieces
  • Air requirement: 5 bar (72 psi), 180 L/min consumption
  • AVLP4PRO upgrades the alarm to a rechargeable 12V battery system
  • AVLP4PRO-500L: 1,102 lb (500 kg) vertical-rated configuration

  1. Connect the lifter to a clean, dry compressed-air supply at 5 bar (72 psi).
  2. Charge or install the 12V alarm battery and confirm the gauge zeros.
  3. Wipe the slab surface clean of dust, water, and stone slurry.
  4. Lower the lifter so all four pads contact the slab; activate the pump.
  5. Wait for the gauge to reach the green safe zone before lifting.
  6. Tilt as needed via the pneumatic control; release pads only after setting down.
  7. Wear gloves, steel-toe boots, and a hard hat when handling slabs.

Granite, marble, quartzite, engineered quartz, porcelain slabs, and flat glass. Best on smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces.

Always wear appropriate PPE. Follow local safety regulations when using power tools or chemical products.
