Akemi Darkener Super — Colour-Intensifying Stone Impregnation

AKEMI® Darkener Super is a ready-to-use, solvent-based impregnation that intensifies colour shades exceptionally well. Drawn into the pores by the stone’s own capillary action, it deepens and enriches colour while helping to even out damaged areas such as hairline cracks for a more homogeneous appearance. It is especially suited to dark and black stone — such as Nero Assoluto, Impala Black, and Galaxy — and works on fine-ground, ground, satin-finished, antique, and polished surfaces. After hardening it is harmless on contact with food (certified by an external German testing institute).

Colour enhancement of dark and black natural stone such as Nero Assoluto, Impala Black, and Galaxy. Suitable for fine-ground, ground, satin-finished, antique, and polished surfaces, indoors and outdoors.

Because results depend on the specific stone and finish, always prepare a sample area first.

  1. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before treatment.
  2. Apply evenly by wide brush, mop, pad, single-disc machine, or spray application.
  3. Allow the impregnation to be absorbed into the pores; the protective effect begins after approx. 24–48 hours at 68°F (20°C).
  4. Prepare a sample area first to confirm the colour result on your specific stone.
