Alpha® Kirara 4" Polishing Pad
Alpha® Kirara Pads are engineered for the maintenance of marble, limestone, and concrete surfaces using a streamlined 3-step polishing system. Designed for wet polishing with minimal water, the pads cool the cutting edge with just a lightly dampened surface and restore polish on materials as challenging as Nero Marquina black marble.

- Lightly dampen the work surface — only minimal water is required for cooling.
- Attach the Pos. 1 (KWD4001) pad to a compatible driver and work the area at standard speed.
- Progress sequentially to Pos. 2 (KWD4002), then Pos. 3 (KWD4003) for the final polish.
- Use a standard-speed buffer (175 or 300 RPM) or a rotary / DA / gear-action sander — do not use high-speed burnishers.
- Apply minimal downward pressure — the diamond bond performs best without forced loading.

Do Kirara pads work on granite and quartz surfaces?
No. These pads target the limestone family of materials, including marbles, travertines, and decorative concrete.
Why are three positions (Pos. 1, 2, 3) indicated?
The three-step system avoids the complexity of mixing additional products; sequential use of Pos. 1, 2, and 3 delivers the final polish.
Do Kirara pads contain acid?
No. There is no acid in the bond, eliminating concerns about surface burn if slurry dries on the stone.
Can I use these pads with hand-held equipment?
Yes. They are compatible with rotary polishers, dual-action sanders, and gear-action sanders in addition to wet polishers.
Are these compatible with high-speed floor burnishers?
No. Use standard-speed equipment (175 or 300 RPM); high-speed burnishers are not recommended.
How much pressure should I apply?
Minimal pressure. The ultra-fine diamond grit and proprietary bond perform best without forced loading.
