Can I use the WDP-120 carbon brush set on the WDP-320?
No. The WDP-320 requires its own designated carbon-brush set; the WDP-120 brushes are not interchangeable.
Can I use the WDP-320 for cutting applications?
No. Alpha does not recommend using a polisher for cutting; the maximum 2,500 RPM does not provide enough peripheral speed for safe, efficient cutting.
How do I configure the WDP-320 for dry polishing?
Remove the EasyOn-EasyOff sleeve from the hoses and the entire water-supply assembly, then connect the Ecoguard™ G to a HEPA vacuum for dust-free operation.
What is the warranty duration?
Alpha warrants the WDP-320 against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase.
What disc diameter does Alpha recommend for edge polishing?
Alpha recommends a 5" diameter disc for all polishing applications with the WDP-320 because it optimizes water distribution and tool stability.
What daily maintenance does the polisher need?
Discharge water from the hose and spindle after each shift. When compressed air is available, blow-dry the inside of the motor housing and clear dust from moving parts.
Where can I send the polisher for repair?
You can order spare parts for in-house service, take the tool to a local Alpha dealer, or send it directly to Alpha for factory repair.
Does the WDP-320 replace the WDP-120?
Yes. The WDP-320 is the updated successor to the WDP-120 with a heavy-duty gear system, precision-machined components, and the bundled Ecoguard™ G attachment.
