Tenax Travertine Filler — Polyester Mastic for Stone Repair

Tenax Travertine filler is used to horizontally repair, rebuild, glue, and fill travertine, as well as similar stones. Tenax Travertine filler is a semisolid consistency that is smooth and easy to spread. It is used to fill all size holes in travertine and will accept a polish. Not suitable for temperatures below 32°. Recommended for interior use. Other colors available upon special request.

  1. Make sure surface to be treated is dry, clean and free of dust.
  2. If adding coloring paste do so before mixing with catalyst.
  3. An excess of coloring paste may affect the final product so use caution.
  4. Mix the catalyst with glue at 2 -3 parts to 100 parts of glue in weight (see chart below).
  5. Stir vigorously and apply.
  6. Apply a slight excess to account for shrinkage.
  7. Let the filler dry until the excess can cut off with a razor blade.
  8. Remove leftover traces with acetone.
  9. Do not place unused product back in can.
  10. Make sure can is sealed tightly after use.
