Akemi Transformer Quartz — Enhancer and Sealer

AKEMI® Transformer Quartz is a solvent-based, color-enhancing impregnating sealer developed for the edges and surfaces of quartz and engineered stone. It penetrates the surface to deepen and enrich the stone’s natural color and veining — ideal for evening out the tone of cut or dripping edges to match the polished factory face — while leaving a water-, oil-, and dirt-repellent barrier. The finish is UV-resistant and non-yellowing, absorbs without forming a film or leaving residue, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Best on polished and honed surfaces, indoors or outdoors. Always prepare a sample area first to confirm the degree of color enhancement and appearance.

  1. Make sure the surface is clean, completely dry, and free of all coatings and residues.
  2. Test an inconspicuous sample area first to confirm the color result and appearance.
  3. Apply the product undiluted in a thin, even coat with a brush, mop, or pad, allowing it to be absorbed by the stone.
  4. After a few minutes — before it dries — wipe off all excess with a soft, absorbent cloth. Buff polished surfaces until any haze is removed.
  5. On very absorbent surfaces, apply a further coat if needed.
  6. Clean tools with AKEMI® Nitro-Dilution before the product dries.
  • Flammable liquid and vapor (contains hydrocarbon C9–C10 solvent) — keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame.
  • Protect surrounding solvent-sensitive materials (synthetics, rubber, lacquered parts).
  • For spray application, avoid forming aerosols and do not breathe vapors.
