The Alpha® Twincur™ Final Polish is the only final-polishing buff in the Alpha line offered in three colors instead of the usual two. Composed of tin oxide and natural fibers in heat-compressed form on a snail-lock (SFAT) adapter, it brings granite edges to a super-glossy finish on automatic edge-polishing machines. Three colors let you match the buff to your machine’s water flow — black for dark stones at low water, white for light stones at medium water, and green for high-water-flow machines on any color.

- Run after the highest resin grit in your sequence (typically after #3000).
- Select the color that matches your water flow: black for dark stones at low water, white for light stones at medium water, green for high water flow on any color.
- Mount on a snail-lock (SFAT) spindle. For 5/8"-11 spindles use the Alpha PVA-5/8 adapter.
- Verify no-load RPM does not exceed 1,800 RPM.
- Run wet only with continuous water feed at the buff face.
- Apply light, even pressure and keep the buff moving along the edge to avoid burning.
- Rinse the edge and inspect the gloss; replace the buff when the working face is worn flat.

Why three colors instead of two?
Most final-polish lines offer black for dark stones and white for light stones. Twincur Final Polish adds a green option specifically for automatic machines that deliver high water flow, where black or white can wash out before delivering a full polish.
Which color should I choose?
Black — dark stones on a machine with low water flow. White — light stones on a machine with medium water flow. Green — any color stone on a high-water-flow machine.
What grit step does this replace?
It runs after your highest resin grit (commonly #3000) as the final mirror-polish step.
