Tenax Marble Rust & Etch Remover Kit — TeRust Poultice + TeEtch Compound for Stone
This Tenax kit combines TeRust rust-remover powder with TeEtch etch-remover compound to tackle two of the most common problems on stone: rust staining and acid etching. TeRust uses a chelate-based poultice to draw rust out of the stone, while TeEtch is a polishing compound that mechanically removes etch and water marks and re-polishes the surface.

TeRust: mix the powder with water to a toothpaste consistency over the rust stain, cover with plastic wrap punched with several toothpick holes, and remove the poultice 24–48 hours after it dries. TeEtch: apply a spoonful over the etch or water mark and rub with a cloth for 2–3 minutes to mechanically remove the blemish and re-polish. Note: calcium-based stones may etch during rust removal and require re-polishing.
