Alpha® Profiler B-Series — Demi-Bullnose / Roundover Edge Tools
The Alpha® Profiler B-Series creates a perfect demi-bullnose / roundover edge treatment on slabs and tiles. Built with vacuum-brazed technology and diamonds suited to harder materials, every Profiler B is equipped with a 5/8"-11 female thread and internal water-passage holes — fitting the AIR-680, AWP-158, VSP-320 and other center-water-feed polishers. Suitable for granite, engineered stone, porcelain, marble and limestone. Wet application only.

- Thread the Profiler onto a 5/8"-11 wet polisher (AIR-680, AWP-158, VSP-320 or similar).
- Attach the matching nylon guide (PFBNG02B) and ensure it sits flush against the slab edge.
- Open water feed before starting; never run dry.
- Set polisher speed to no more than 3,500 RPM.
- Hold the polisher level — press firmly so the nylon guide tracks the edge.
- Move smoothly back and forth; let the rotary touchier set the depth.

Wet or dry application?
All Alpha Profilers are to be used for wet applications only.
Can I use a high-speed grinder?
No. Maximum speed is 3,500 RPM. Use low-speed wet polishers such as the AIR-680 or VSP-320.
How should I pick a size?
PFB051 (3/16") eases edges on 3/8" tiles and 2–3 cm slabs; PFB101 (3/8") creates a full roundover on the same; PFB131 (1/2") is suited to large floor tiles; PFB201 (3/4") produces a full demi-bullnose on 2–3 cm slabs.
How does it create straight lines?
The ball-bearing / rotary touchier inside the Profiler controls the depth, ensuring a straight, even profiled edge.
Does the nylon guide stop dipping?
Yes — the nylon guide keeps the Profiler from dipping during the pass when pressed firmly and kept level.
Is a replacement guide available?
Yes, part number PFBNG01 / PFBNG02B is available through authorized distributors.
How long does a Profiler last?
Life depends on granite hardness. Vacuum-brazed technology gives long life and aggressive grinding without losing profile shape.
Can I use it on concrete?
Yes, but wheel life will be extremely short due to concrete’s abrasive nature.
Does it fit Park Industries Wizard / Deluxe?
Yes — any 5/8"-11 spindle, up to 3,500 RPM.
