Alpha® Vacuum-Brazed Trimmer Bit — 1/4" Shank

The Alpha® Vacuum-Brazed Trimmer Bit is built for cutting non-standard shaped openings such as electrical receptacles, water-valve holes, floor drains and shower-knob cutouts. Vacuum-brazed diamond construction delivers extended life on granite, engineered and natural stone, porcelain and ceramic tile. Operates wet or dry on a high-speed trimmer tool with a standard 1/4" collet.

  1. Chuck the 1/4" shank into a high-speed trimmer tool (laminate router or pneumatic die grinder).
  2. Mark the cutout outline on the tile or stone face; secure the workpiece.
  3. Plunge straight in at the start of the line, then trace the outline at a steady feed rate.
  4. For best diamond life use water mist or a wet trimmer setup; for dry cutting, pause periodically so the bit can cool.
  5. Do not exceed 33,000 RPM — the rated maximum spindle speed.
  6. Inspect frequently; replace when the diamond face is worn smooth.
