MB-9 Mold & Mildew Remover is a ready-to-use, professional-strength cleaner that removes mold and mildew staining and the odors associated with biological growth from natural stone, tile, grout and other hard surfaces. It is formulated for use on stone that household mold removers can etch or discolor, including marble, granite, limestone and travertine. The current formulation is a thicker gel that clings to vertical surfaces such as shower walls, backsplashes and grout joints for longer contact with the stain. No mixing or dilution is required: apply, let the product work, then rinse thoroughly.

- Test first: apply MB-9 to a small, inconspicuous area to verify compatibility with the surface before treating the whole installation.
- Prepare the work area: remove loose debris, dust and standing water, and make sure the space is well ventilated, especially in showers, bathrooms, locker rooms and utility rooms.
- Spray MB-9 directly onto the affected area, fully saturating the mold or mildew staining. The gel formula is designed to stay in place on vertical surfaces.
- Let the product dwell while it breaks down the staining. Staining often begins to disappear within minutes. Never allow the product to dry on the surface.
- Watch the treated area as it works. Heavier biological staining may need additional dwell time or a second application.
- For older or deeply embedded staining, agitate gently with a soft nylon brush. Avoid aggressive scrubbing that could damage sensitive stone finishes.
- Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water once the staining has been removed.
- Repeat the application if severe accumulation remains, until the desired result is achieved.
- On countertops, food preparation areas or any surface that may contact food, rinse thoroughly at least twice after cleaning.
- Let the surface air dry or wipe it dry with a clean microfiber towel, then inspect for complete stain removal.
