Akemi Marble Filler 1000 Transparent L-Special Waterclear — Knife-Grade Polyester (Quart)

Akemi Marble Filler 1000 Transparent L-Special Waterclear is the waterclear-base version of Akemi's knife-grade polyester filler, sized in a quart for shop-bench use. The waterclear base disappears in clear and lightly veined stones and tints cleanly to match darker materials. Use it for pinhole fill in granite, seam glue on countertops, and mitre bonds on stone edges where the joint must read invisible.

  1. Verify the substrate is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, and sealer residue.
  2. Combine resin and hardener at the ratio specified on the product label.
  3. Tint with Akemi color paste for stone color match.
  4. Apply with a clean putty knife; work into the void or joint without trapping air.
  5. Let cure per the label cure time at the ambient shop temperature.
  6. Sand or polish back to the surrounding stone surface.
  • Read the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before opening the container.
  • Wear chemical-resistant gloves, ANSI Z87 eye protection, and appropriate respiratory protection per the SDS.
  • Use only with adequate ventilation. Solvent and resin-based products may release VOCs during application and cure.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Store in a cool, dry place in the original sealed container; follow the SDS storage temperature range.
  • Dispose of empty containers and unused product per local hazardous-waste regulations.
  • Polyester resin exotherms during cure — mix only the quantity needed within the pot life.
  • Use with ventilation; reactive-monomer vapors during cure.
