The Makita 4 Inch electronic stone polisher is run by a 7.9 Amp motor that delivers an optimum speed of 4000 RPM. Variable speed dial allows the user to choose the speed from 2000 to 4000 RPM. Water feed valve is made from solid brass for controlled water flow rate. Electronic controller produces uniform operating speed even under heavy loads. Soft start mechanism suppresses the start-up reaction to prolong the gear life. GFCI plug gives operational convenience for the user and the overload switch safeguards the device from armature failure. Aluminum gear construction offers added strength and endures tough jobsite conditions. Three holes at the spindle help in uniform distribution of the water into the pad thus preventing clogging. Common fitting conforms well with most water hose connections.
