Dunlop® Goliath Steel Toe Boot

The Dunlop® Goliath is a one-piece molded steel toe safety boot built from Dunlop's Polyblend® compound, which gives it superior resistance to fats, oils and chemicals. A power lug outsole with a multi-tread design delivers slip resistance and all-day comfort, and the steel toe and steel shank carry a full ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 SD rating — static-dissipative, so the boot bleeds off static charge rather than insulating against it. Seamless PVC construction makes it fully waterproof. Made in the United States and sold by the pair.

We stock three Dunlop® steel toe boots. They differ mainly in electrical rating and weight:

ModelElectrical RatingOutsole
GoliathSD — static dissipativePower lug, multi-tread
DuraProEH — insulatingSafety-Loc, decontamination canals
ChesapeakeNoneBAY-LOC, water-repelling channels
Is the toe cap steel?

Yes. The Goliath uses a steel toe cap together with a steel shank, and complies with ASTM F2413-11.

What does the SD rating mean?

SD stands for static dissipative. The boot is built to bleed static charge away from the wearer in a controlled way. It is not an electrical-hazard (EH) insulating boot — if you need EH insulation, see the Dunlop DuraPro instead.

What impact and compression rating does it carry?

M I/75 C/75 — the 75 ft-lb impact and 2,500 lb compression class of ASTM F2413-11, rated for men's sizing.

Is it slip resistant?

The outsole is tested to ASTM F3445-21 SR, and the power lug multi-tread pattern is designed for slip resistance and comfort.

Will it stand up to oils and chemicals?

Dunlop's Polyblend® compound is specified for superior resistance to fats, oils and chemicals, and the outsole is both oil-resistant and fuel-oil resistant.

Is the boot waterproof?

Yes. It is molded as a single piece of PVC with no seams or stitching to leak.

What sizes can I order?

We stock US sizes 7 through 14. Dunlop manufactures the Goliath in US 5 through 15.

Where is it made?

The United States of America.
