NSI Solutions Rapid Z-Cut (without Bearing)

Rapid Z™-CUT

The 3" Rapid Z™-CUT grinding wheel features a stainless steel arbor, 5/8-11 mounting thread (M14 thread available), and center water feed. It is originally designed for profiling sinks on the Sink BULL™, offering extremely fast material removal.

Versions:

  1. With Bearing Template Follower:

    • The original version includes twelve stacked blades and a bearing template follower, which is ideal for grinding slab material up to 3 cm thick. It shapes inside sink holes and outside corners rapidly. The follower ensures a small amount of material is left, which can be cleaned up with a vacuum brazed drum wheel.

    2 Stage Template Follower Bearing:
    The two-stage design allows the removal of the large outer ring after the blades wear halfway down, reducing the remaining material to be removed with the final drum wheel.

  2. No Bearing:

    • This version features seventeen blades and is excellent for freehand shaping. It can also be adapted to a 1/2 gas thread for CNC use.
