- Place the rack on a level concrete floor with adequate clearance on both sides for slab loading.
- Verify the frame is square and stable before any slabs are loaded.
- Load the bundle so the slab edges are evenly distributed across the rack base — never load a bundle off-center.
- Confirm the bundle is leaning into the rack's back support before releasing the lifting equipment.
- Inspect the rack for damage and weld integrity at regular intervals; remove from service if cracks are visible.
- Wear ANSI Z87 eye protection and a dust-rated respirator.
- Inspect the tool/accessory before each use; remove from service if cracks, deformation, or excessive wear are visible.
- Follow OSHA and local site safety procedures at all times.
- Never stand or work on the load-bearing side of a loaded bundle rack.
- Verify lifting-equipment WLL exceeds the bundle weight before placing or removing slabs.
