Alpha® Air / Exhaust Hose Adapter (HEP110021)

The HEP110021 Air / Exhaust Hose Adapter is a small polymer fitting that bridges the dust port on Alpha® Ecoguard CX, GX and W Series dust collection covers and the connector / vacuum hose. The adapter is included with most Ecoguard kits (ECOCX5KIT, ECOW6KIT, ECOW9KIT) and is available as a stand-alone replacement when building a custom dust-extraction system. Made in the USA.

  1. Fit the adapter to the dust port on your Ecoguard cutting or grinding cover.
  2. Push the matching cuff of a connector hose (e.g. 500026 18", 500073 54") or your vacuum hose onto the other end.
  3. Verify the joint is secure with no visible gap — a tight seal is required for >90% dust capture.
  4. Start the vacuum first, then start the grinder. Vent freely while running.
  5. Inspect the adapter at the end of every shift; replace if cracked or worn.

Which Ecoguard products is this adapter for?

The Ecoguard CX-5 cutting cover, the GX Series grinding covers, and the W6 and W9 wide-kerf covers.

Is the adapter included with the dust covers?

It is included with the kits (ECOCX5KIT, ECOW6KIT, ECOW9KIT). The standalone covers and the connector hoses do not include it — order HEP110021 separately if you need it.

Does it fit standard shop-vacuum hoses?

Yes. The adapter is sized to mate with standard 1-1/4" / 2-1/4" vacuum hose cuffs used by most HEPA wet/dry vacuums.

What is the adapter made of?

Lightweight polymer that will not rust or corrode in wet-cut conditions.
